New investment in SEZ Lublin – GORBI

GORBI is a leading manufacturer of window blinds and sunshades. The company is planning to invest PLN 8.5 mln in SSE Euro-Park Mielec Lublin Subzone to build and launch a modern production plant and employ 42 new workers.

GORBI Piotr Garbacz was founded in 2002. Initially, it manufactured and traded roller-blinds, verticals, and mosquito nets. GORBI is a leading manufacturer of window blinds and sunshades. In Lublin Subzone, GORBI is planning to manufacture new generation blinds and sunshades, including pergolas, awnings, and glass walls for balconies and terraces. The investor is going to allocate PLN 8,500,000 for this investment project and employ 42 heads.

In SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC Lublin Subzone, GORBI is planning to build and launch a modern production plant where innovative large-size automatic sunshades, glass walls for balconies and terraces, and thermoinsulating outdoor covers will be manufactured. The project will be implemented on the plot no. 132/2 (total size: 2.0004 ha), Zadębie-I precinct no. 44 at Spiessa Street in Lublin. The investment will involve purchasing the parcel from Municipal Government of the City of Lublin as well as building and equipping a facility consisting of a production plant, warehouse, offices, R&D labs and prototype labs.

Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK Subzone Lublin

The location of the Lublin Subzone is not accidental. The land occupied by the SEZ is situated in the south-eastern part of the city, in the Witosa Street area, i.e. close to the Lublin by-pass road, the S-17 expressway junction and Lublin Airport. It is the most favourable location for all the entities investing there.

Currently, the Lublin Subzone is almost completely developed. 45 investors have found convenient conditions for development in that area. 26 companies have completed their planned projects, employing a total of 2,792 people (of whom 1,703 hold new jobs, and 1,089 have retained their jobs). The value of the projects completed so far exceeds PLN 1,051 million.
