SEZ Euro-Park Mielec Lublin Subzone (1)
The SEZ Lublin Subzone was established on September 24, 2007, in a total area of 70 ha. Over the years, the Lublin Subzone was expanded, successively in 2009, 2010 and 2015, and now covers an area of 128ha. On June 26, 2017, the Lublin City Council, at the request of the Industrial Development Agency JSC, adopted a resolution authorising the inclusion to the Special Economic Zone of 12,7 ha of land in the former Lorry Factory area. Thus, the total area of the Lublin Subzone will double in relation to its original area 10 years after its creation.
The enlargement of the Lublin Subzone is related to the investment plans of the company from the automotive industry. Realisation of the investment, which will cost the investor about PLN 60 million, will increase employment by creating about 30 new jobs. Increasing the company’s production capacity with the use of modern manufacturing technology will be possible in the indicated area where a prepared industrial hall having over 30,000 m2 is located. Moreover, operating under the SEZ status will give the investor a chance to further rapid development.
