Fintech hardcore in Lublin

The event brought together IT industry specialists and enthusiasts as well as representatives of local government authorities, universities and local technology communities. The conference is what we, as a local government, are trying to develop with our business partners. I hope that such initiatives will be more and more frequent in our city. I am glad that Lublin is a platform for IT NonStop and I hope that this event will evolve and find a growing group of recipients – says Łukasz Goś, Deputy Head of Strategy and Investor Relations Department of the City of Lublin.

Issues discussed during the technological sessions included: machine learning, cloud solutions, security of banking systems, digital transformation, UI, omnichannel banking and blockchain. The event was also an opportunity for a dialogue on leading trends and technological innovations related to the fintech sector. Speakers were available for participants throughout the conference in the networking zone.

– The approach to frontend applications is changing radically, the weight is being transferred to the client side, we have a wider and wider spectrum of frameworks available, and the frontend is becoming more and more separated from the backend. This is a clear evolution in the approach to web applications over the last few years – this is how Bartosz Matosiuk, Senior Software Developer, DataArt Poland talks about changes in the world.

The conference was summed up by a panel discussion. The experts analyzed the pros and cons of ideas for a unique financial application and awarded the most interesting ones. The main organizer of the event was DataArt Poland, a global leader in technology consulting. Participants also had the opportunity to meet the DataArt team, test their skills using Skillotron platform and use the chillout zone.

– The international series of IT NonStop conferences was created to stimulate constructive discussion among IT specialists and IT enthusiasts. We are pleased that so many people have joined the discussion about what is currently setting the tone for the sector, while also supporting Hospice charges. At the same time, it is worth noting that fintech is a very specific industry in which, on the one hand, we are seeing enormous technological progress and, on the other hand, we are still dealing with external regulations and safety requirements.
